I so resonate with your post Jenna and recently I’ve been practicing more gratitude to reduce the amount of comparisons I make. I am finding it helpful to look for what I can be thankful for in someone else’s ✍️ ❤️
I’m so glad you resonated with this Beverley, thank you! Yes, that’s a great way to balance - be grateful for our own journey, but use others for inspiration, not comparison or jealousy.

I think we are all poems, each of us. Maybe we all need to write about a poem who doesn’t feel like a poem. What would your poem sound like?
Oh yes! That would be a great poem to write. I will ponder over the words and let them come to me.
In the meantime, you can read mine here: https://open.substack.com/pub/johnmoyermedlpcncc/p/unread-poem?r=3p5dh&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Thank you! I’ll check it out
I can resonate that sometimes we don't feel like anything. It's normal...
Definitely! And it’s certainly okay to feel that way.
I'm not just a poet😊 this was a helpful reminder and perspective. Loved the pics especially.
Thank you so much! I’m glad it resonated 🥰
Hmm yes. Thanks for helping me to look at comparison differently x
Thank you for reading, I’m glad it helped. I still very much feel contradicted with comparison, but I feel thinking this way helps x
